Metered Proportioning : A separate foam concentrate pump is used to inject foam concentrate into the water stream. Orifices or venturis, or both, control or measure the proportion of water to foam concentrate. Either manual or automatic adjustment of foam concentrate injection by pressure or flow control can be utilized. Another type of proportioning uses a pump or diaphragm tank to balance the pressure of the water and the concentrate. Variable orifices proportion automatically through a wide range of solution requirements
