Microseism 2
Microseism 2 : Natural Disaster. A more or less continuous motion in the Earth in a wide frequency range that is unrelated to any earthquake and caused by a variety of usually uncorrelated (incoherent) natural and artificial (man-made) sources. More specifically that part of seismic noise that is generated by wave motions on lakes and oceans and their action on shores, typically with periods between about 2 to 9 (the stronger secondary microseisms), and 11 to 18 seconds (the weaker primary microseisms)
