Mission Essential Function (MEF) Business Process Analysis (BPA) :

The identification and mapping of the functional processes, workflows, activities, personnel expertise, systems, data, and facilities inherent to the execution of each identified MEF (e.g., define how each MEF is performed and executed, using a business-process flow map) that must be performed under all circumstances either uninterrupted, with minimal interruption, or requiring immediate execution in an emergency.
