Mission Essential Functions (MEFs) Initial Screening Aid :
(1) Is the function directed by law, directed by law, presidential directive, or executive order? (2) Did a Business Process Analysis (BPA) determine that the function must be performed under all circumstances either uninterrupted, with minimal interruption, or requiring immediate execution in an emergency?
