Mitigation 19
Mitigation 19 : A collective term used for those activities implemented prior to, during, or after a wildfire which are designed to reduce the actual or potential consequences of the wildfire. Mitigation measures can include efforts to educate governments, businesses and the general public on appropriate actions to take to reduce loss of life and property during wildfire incidents. The development of mitigation measures is often informed by lessons learned from prior incidents
