Moment Connection
Moment Connection : A connection between elements of a structure that is capable of transmitting moment as well as shear force. In a moment frame, the joints between the beams and columns are typically designed to take the full moment developed in the beam. See Hall (2003), and Dowrick (1977), and Salmon and Johnson (1996)
