Moment Tensor
Moment Tensor : Natural Disaster. A symmetric second-order tensor that characterizes an internal seismic point source completely. For a finite source, it represents a point source approximation and can be determined from the analysis of seismic waves whose wavelengths are much greater than the source dimensions.
