Monogenetic Volcano 2


Monogenetic Volcano 2 : Monogenetic volcanoes typically erupt for only brief time intervals -- weeks to perhaps centuries -- and generally display a narrower range (as compared to composite volcanoes) in eruptive behavior. Most monogenetic volcanoes are basaltic in composition. (Walder, et.al., 1999)
