Appeal 7 : This is the formal objection to proposed and/or proposed modified Base Flood Elevations (BFEs) and/or base flood depths that is submitted by a community official or an owner or lessee of real property within the community during the statutory 90-day appeal period. An appeal must be based on scientific or technical data showing that the proposed or proposed modified BFEs or base flood depths are scientifically or technically incorrect. The 90-day appeal period is statutory and cannot be extended for any reason
