Multi-agency Coordination System(s) (MACS) 07

Multi-agency Coordination System(s) (MACS) 07 :

Multiagency coordination systems provide the architecture to support coordination for incident prioritization, critical resource allocation, communications systems integration, and information coordination. The elements of multiagency coordination systems include facilities, equipment, personnel, procedures, and communications. Two of the most commonly used elements are EOCs and MAC Groups. These systems assist agencies and organizations responding to an incident. (FEMA, NIMS Draft, 2007, p. 154)
