Multi-Casualty/Multi-Patient Incident Plan (Multiple Casualty/Multiple Patient IP) (MCI/MPI) :
An effective MCI/MPI plan should include all of the health and medical resources within a local area/region. Significant components of an MCI plan include EMS, private ambulance providers, fire department, law enforcement, hospitals, medical education facilities, and public health capabilities.
