Muting 2
Muting 2 : Some machines are only considered dangerous during part of their cycle. If they are fitted with presence-sensing guards, then the guard may be de-activated during the non-dangerous part of the cycle so that the operator can approach the machine, to feed or extract workpieces, without causing it to stop. The position at which the guard is de-activated is called the muting position
