Mutual Aid 13 :
Disaster Management. Is defined as written or oral communication between and among a specified agency and the City and County of San Francisco requesting that specified agency to provide emergency assistance in the form of personnel, equipment, materials, and/or other unspecified services. The primary objective is to facilitate rapid, short-term deployment of emergency support prior to, during, and/or after an incident. Personnel safety, asset allocation and resource availability may limit or restrict a specified agencies ability to satisfy a mutual aid request
