Nascent 3 : Some elements are much more chemically active at the moment of liberation in an exothermic chemical reaction. With hydrogen it has been suggested that the atoms have not joined to form the molecule and are, therefore, more active, but since the extra activity happens only with exothermic reactions it is possible that the hydrogen has an amount of energy temporarily at its disposal
