National Civil Defence Advisory Group (NCDAG)
National Civil Defence Advisory Group (NCDAG) : The purpose of the NCDAG is to examine, develop and provide guidance on civil defence. The tasks of NCDAG are to: (1) develop and review civil defence policy; (2) develop civil defence operational concepts and civil defence plans for Australia; (3) develop specific aspects of civil defence sub-plans and advise on civil defence-related legislative requirements; (4) identify civil defence training needs and awareness requirements; (5) provide technical advice on civil defence; and, (6) contribute to the National Emergency Management Strategy.
