National Contingency Plan (NCP) 2 :
The NCP is formally known as the "National Oil and Hazardous Substances Pollution Contingency Plan, and is promulgated under 40 CFR Part 300. RAGS Volume I, Part A defines the NCP as "the regulation that implements CERCLA. Among other things, the NCP establishes the overall approach for determining appropriate remedial actions at Superfund sites."...See also: Superfund
