National Infrastructure Protection Plan (NIPP) Senior Leadership Council :
"NIPP Senior Leadership Council: The NIPP Leadership Council will bring together the leadership of the federal agencies engaged in critical infrastructure protection, critical infrastructure owners and operators and Homeland Security Advisors to lead, integrate, and coordinate implementation and enhancement of the NIPP through the following activities: forging consensus on critical infrastructure protection actions, evaluating and promoting implementation of risk managementbased infrastructure protection programs, information sharing, advancing collaboration within and across sectors, and evaluating and reporting on progress. The NIPP Senior Leadership Council is supported by the Cross-Government Coordinating Council and Cross-Sector Coordinating Council". (DHS, ODP Information Bulletin, No. 172, June 01, 2005)
