National Integration Center (NIC) Mission :
"The National Integration Center (NIC) is responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating all homeland security training, education (external), and exercise programs, as required, to ensure the Nation is prepared to prevent, protect against, respond to, recover from, and mitigate against all hazards, natural or manmade".
