National Security Council, Sub Committee on Threats, Hazards, Resilience and Contingencies NSC (THRC) 4 :
A Ministerial sub committee of the National Security Council, which will come together in both policy and crisis response modes. This may be in some contextst be more colloquially referred to as 'the COBR Committee'. Note: in crisis response mode the NSC(THRC) now replaces the former Civil Contingencies Committee.
