Natural Gas 04 : A combustible gas composed largely of methane and other hydrocarbons with variable amounts of nitrogen and noncombustible gases; obtained from natural earth fissures or from driven wells. Used as a fuel in the manufacture of carbon black and in chemical synthesis of many products. Major source of hydrogen for the manufacture of ammonia.
