Natural Occurrence 2 :
The occurrence in nature of a compound, when there are no man-made sources of the compound. The contamination of nature by some compounds may be so widespread that it is virtually impossible at the present time to get access to biota with a natural level and only "normal'' levels can be measured, i.e., the levels that are usually prevalent at places where there is no obvious local contamination.
