Nonplar Compound
Nonplar Compound : (Chem) An organic material or solvent having an electrically and magnetically balanced molecular structure. Note: Hexane, for example, is a balanced nonreactive flammable liquid that is a weaker solvent than the polar compound methyl ethyl ketone, which has a nonuniformly distributed internal electric charge and therefore a dipole moment. The latter is capable of breaking down firefighting foams. See: Polar Compound
