A North Atlantic Ocean current setting northeastward from southeast of the Grand Banks at about latitude 400 north, longitude 500 west, to the British Isles. A segment of the Gulf Stream System, the North Atlantic Current continues the flow of the Gulf Stream to the Norwegian and Canary Currents
