Nuclide 01
Nuclide 01 : (Nucl Phys) An atomic form of an element. Not a synonym for isotope. Whereas isotopes are the various forms of a single element (hence are a family of nuclides) and all have the same atomic number (number of protons), nuclides comprise all the isotopic forms of all the elements. Nuclides are distinguished by their atomic number, atomic mass, and energy state. See: Element
