Occupational Exposure Limit (Oel) 3

Occupational Exposure Limit (Oel) 3 : General term for concentration of air contaminants above which people should not be exposed at work. Most often, an OEL refers to the airborne concentration of a substance averaged over a reference period, such as an 8 hour workshift, or over a 15 minute period during a work shift where peak exposures may occur, which if not exceeded is unlikely to lead to adverse health effects in exposed workers, when exposed daily over a standard working lifetime
