ORIGINAL EFFECTIVE PERMEABILITY (K0) : The original effective permeability of a Berea sandstone core target is the effective permeability to kerosine of a 3-9/16 inc. diameter by 12-, 15-, 18-, 21-, 24-, or 27 in. length core cut in such a way that the bedding planes are parallel to the axis of the core target and to the direction of fluid flow.
