Perceptual Countermeasures (Pcms)
Perceptual Countermeasures (Pcms) : PCMs unobtrusively influence the visual information on display to the driver so that they perceive that certain behaviours such as fast speed are unsafe or inappropriate. Most treatments are low-cost and do not introduce additional hazards on the roads and commonly involve painted lines or additional road surfaces to provide the desired effect
